The guy who builds my Amps ...
www.ampcrazy.com
built this guy an amp & he sent me this link
about 6 months ago & now it's up for some kind of
film awards.

I have been thinking about starting a post for
guitar education here... inviting suggestions from all... if nobody minds... with links to the Giulianni right hand Arpeggio Studies & modern Shredding educaters like George Bellas.

This is a good place to start.

Good Clean Fun.

Default For anyone who cares the Guita

For anyone who cares the Guitar show explosion in the video is typically Lydian ... Satch / Vai ...

It is a regular major scale with a raised 4th.

In other words play a G major scale over a C Major chord as a drone... (F# in the G major scale is the raised 4th) you'll get the same vibe after a while as those guys did or as Fastfinger does in the Shred Show. The first two chords in the harmony are both major ... 1 & 2 would be Cmaj & Dmaj ... you can just play those two cords back & forth riffing in the G major scale to get this vibe...

I'll try to limit my commentary unless asked (imagine that) but there's a fairly standard repertior required to become a true Virtuoso.

It just takes talent, practice, & dedication ...

After several hundred years of guitar believe me
the foundations have already been laid.

Take your originality to the next level.

Default Check out Michael Angelo Batio

Check out Michael Angelo Batio's home page. Watch the Double Guitar Solo video. I saw him do this at a Dean Guitar Clinic in KC. Amazing. Also download the <speed_lives_mab.wmv> video (about half way down the page). This is the stuff I have been practicing (then feeling I must be missing some muscles or something). The link takes you directly to the multimedia page in MAB's website. The instructional DVD is very, very good.

Michael is one of the most articulate and versatile shredders in the world.
