80bs Ranger Custom

Hey, I just came across this site and had to post the 80's Ranger Custom that I have. Being from Houston, and having bought my first guitars and Rockin Robin, I've always thought Robins were cool. I was wondering if you guys could shed some more light on when this guitar was made. Serial 6692 (I know they were arbitrary though). Gold logo. And this thing is almost mint!!! One nick on the binding, but man is it clean. I'm not the original owner, only had it a short while, so it must have been under a bed. And the tone... Came with a Robin hard case too. Ranger Custom made in Japan by ESP between 1984-87. Any Robin with a gold logo was made in Japan. I would guess that your case was made by G&G of California.

Great guitar. It looks to be all-original. I've actually never owned one of these although I have owned a couple of the Houston-made Ranger Customs.

Hey, is anyone interested in buying this? I am selling my house and about to move into an apartment and have way too many guitars. Thought maybe this one should be in the hands of another Robin fan. If there is any interest I'll post some more pics in the for sale section.
