The Wrangler Pro (new in 2003) has a P/P for the Tallboy HB, Old Blonde finish and a flame maple neck. There is one small ding in the neck where I bumped it on a chair taking pics (*@#%!). Otherwise it is in near new condition.

The Ranger Custom has a few tiny dings and some pick guard scratches (don't show in pics). The 5way also has some dust static when switching. Otherwise it is in excellent shape.

Prices are $775.00 for the Wrangler and $700.00 for the Ranger. Or $1,350.00 for both. Including OHSC's in excellent condition.

Prices also include UPS Ground shipping within continental US.

Finally! My favorite Rolling Stone surfaces!!

Actually, that's not accurate. I don't have a favorite Rolling Stone. I really can't stomach any of them....except for Mick Taylor, and he's not exactly "in the group" any longer.

But I digress...

I played that Wrangler when it was at BCR Greg's Clubhouse, and I can tell you, that's a special guitar.
It has the Tallboy HB in the neck position, like Ron mentioned, which gives it the majority of its ass-kicking prowess.

Buy Ron's for this tremendous discount, or order one like it and wait...and wait...and wait...

By the way, Ronnie, what year is the Ranger?

Kizmo,
Thanks for the backup on the Wrangler. I'm not sure on the year for the Ranger. The serial number is 941292 so I'm figuring it's a '94(?).

'94 - that is correct, sir!

Reverse headstock?????

It's got the regular headstock on a stunning flame maple neck with non-locking sperzels.

Do you have the weight of the Wrangler? Was the neck pup factory installed?

I played the Wrangler, as I said, and although I don't know the exact weight, I can tell you that it's light.

The neck pickup was installed at the factory. That is a BCR Music spec Wrangler Pro.

I know of one other, and brother Stevie MF Clay has it.

The Wrangler is right at 6 LBS and the Tallboy with P/P and tort guard was part of a custom order I worked up with Greg. I started out wanting a Ranger and we wound up basically combining a Ranger with a Wrangler. I think this guitar is a great mix of both (not to mention they look awesome).

That guitar made Stevie(pictured above) order his. It is awesome.

Just throwing in my two cents here. I roadie for BCR Greg and "Stevie MF Clay"s band. And that guitar is awesome. (As a matter of fact... There is a good chance I took that picture...) If there is another one out there. Snag it. That's my two cents.

Thanks to all for the comments on the Wrangler.

Being I need to sell both of these soon, I'm going to list the guitars this weekend on ebay. In the meantime I'll lower the prices here by $50.00 each or $75.00 for the pair with shipping to the continental U.S. still included.

(BTW, $1,275.00 for the pair is the best deal).

Hello All:

I am interested in selling my Avalon Goldtop. I ordered it in April 04 from BCR Greg, and although I like it, there is another guitar I must have. It is in almost perfect shape, except for a very small nick on the headstock. Can't see it unless your eyes are 6 inches away. It is a chambered mahogany body, rock maple top, natural binding, and a tone pro's bridge installed by BCR Greg himself. I also have the stock bridge. I'm in this guitar $1800.00. I have it listed on ebay with a $1300 starting price. http://robinlovers.com/discus/messages/7/1382.jpg

I don't often take Kevin's advice, but this time I think I'll make an exception.

Ship 'em both to me, Woody!!

Consider it done. They'll be packed tomorrow and on the way by Thursday. I can't think of a better home for these guitars.

Thanks Kiz

Well, they arrived yesterday, and I could not be more happy with these two instruments.
The Wrangler is everything that I remember (see - I wasn't just blowing smoke when I said I liked the guitar), and the Ranger is AWESOME!
Woody is a great guy to do a deal with!
Thanks man!

I don't normally "name" guitars (probably because I don't hang onto them long enough to form a relationship with them), but I have decided to call the Wrangler...you guessed it...."Woody."

After Woody Allen, of course.

He's kinda pale like the Wrangler.

You all say the nicest things. But is it OK to say "Woody" and "nuts" in the same sentence here?

Yeah, me and Greg are pals. He knows me like the back of his pituitary gland.

BTW, even though I may be uglier than Woody Allen, I don't think he ever owned a Robin.
