I wanted to say thankyou to John Williams at Joyful Noise Music for my recent purchase of a Robin Machete Pro (with an Ebony fretboard ;-)
I think I have purchased about 3-4 Robins from John's Music store. I don't like calling it a store because its more of a community and resource for those of us with a passion for guitar. I think Robin has really High Standards for its represenatives ( As it should be ) and John Williams is all of these and more.
I would also like to thank Dave Kosmann Jr. , who likely has been wondering where the Hell I have been . I purchased a Robin Machete from him , so thats two machete's in the Robin Rack now. Both of the machetes are players guitars ,
way to go Robin!!!
I also wanted to say thankyou to Darren Walters for hooking me up on a Gordon Smith SG . Frank Marino is the biggest influnce on me , as well as Al DiMeola and Michael Schenker.
I also love Jimmy Bruno , Pat Martino , Tal Farlow , Les Paul , Eddie Lang , Django Rhinehart . You know , the people you turn younger players on to when the amp room at the local music shop is buzzing with too much preamp distortion and lack of real guitarist for a source of education. I love heavy tones as much as the next person, but son ya gotta know how to play.
I have the upper flat in a house and my whole front room is pretty much guitars and amps. I will be teaching out of my place soon. I recently built a rack with string swings to hang my guitars from ( Sweet). When I practice , the TV is on with the volume all the way off . My CD unit is playing everything from Les Paul To Joe Stump.
If any of you are ever in Kalamazoo Michigan , please feel free to look me up . Thankyou to Robin and all others who have interacted with me on this site.
