Who can run down the history of the Rangers for us, in particular the years when the Tokai-built guitars were made and when the American made ones appeared ? What about the year of the first Ranger Custom ? Even better, if you know the serial number scheme for the Rangers, that would really clear it up for us. My Ranger Custom has a serial that does not contain a year as the first 2 digits, so there must be some other scheme they use. Post your info here. Thanks!
