I am trying to identify the year it was made and any specialities in might possess. It has a maple neck w/a reverse headstock, 22 wide frets, a 'flat-top' strat style body with one rear relief carving for the gut space. It is bound in white on top showcasing a tigerstriped red into yellow sunburst. It has two volumes and one tone control plus a 3 pos switch. The fingerboard is flat. It is not marked made in USA (or Japan) anywhere. It has a double set of black and white double stackers w/one set of pole pieces being adjustable and one not. The whammy bar system is marked Japan under the balance block holding 3 large springs, but marked Robin on all 6 adjusters. It has string through body mounting. It has a nice warm tone which even sounds mellow when switched to the bridge pickup. I am serious about selling it. I'm moving. Anybody interested can email me at owiding@yahoo.com CONDITION:
I'm open for offers. 2 out of 3 knobs are broken (I put on guild replacements), the whammy bar is missing, I fabricated one and it works fine. The pot and switch plastic plate is missing (i fabricated one out of plastic. I matched existing screwS. It's a great player and these cosmetic enhancements do nothing to hamper the Robin tone!

Does anyone have a clue to the Robin Model called a Rider circa early eighties? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
