I'll be fine-tuning the board over the next couple days. If you have problems with anything, just click on my name to the left and you can email me via that link. Thanks to all for your interest!

Everything seems to be working properly so far. This should be my last test message.

Glad you are back up! These are fine guitars and deserve a web site for us owners to crow about (1985 LEFTY Robin Ranger Custom).

Any Robin lefty is VERY rare. Post a pic if you got one!

Here's my '85 Lefty. I believe it was made in Japan with a serial number of 6077 - can anyone help me verify the japan-made question?
I had my friend Darren Riley, the best guitar and amp man in Raleigh NC put her back in shape by replacing the original pickguard and upgrading the noisy pots and 5-way switch. We also installed Rio Grande pickups with a Bastard P-90 in the neck, a Halfbreed RWRP in the middle, and a Stelly in the bridge. This guitar just flat sizzles now with great pickup balance and perfect sharp to dark contrast between the bridge to middle to neck pickups. The Bastard is perfect for this guitar in the neck with only slight filing to the hole to allow fitment.
I consider these mods to be simple tweaks to an already beautifully crafted guitar. It is now my favorite guitar of 15. It feels great in my hands with a great neck , the belly cut on the body, and the funky vibe body (like an original '51 P-Bass - mind-blowing looks).
Thanks Ranger for making a very fine guitar.
By the way, I'd live to get my hands on another lefty if anyone is selling one.

All Robins with gold logos are Japanese. This Ranger was made by ESP.
I've seen a LOT of Rangers - very few have been left-handed. Let us know if you find another one.

Thanks Ken. I feel very fortunate to have found this one. Great guitar in all aspects, particularly with the added Rios.
Great comaradery on this board.
