So, you quit worrying about financial constraints, the roomfull of guitars you already have, the fact that your friends still play those big name guitars that they don't even like... What would it be?
For me, it'd have to be a fire engine red Avalon Classic with Bigsby, and horseshoes for fret markers inlaid in an offset or wavy pattern on the fingerboard... I saw a Savoy with that inlay once and I wish I'd snagged it.
The Avalon would have four-conductor Muy Grandes wired push/pull knobs on volume and tone to give me a variety of pickup combinations...either that or a Jazzbar neck and Bluesbar bridge with a second volume knob and a five-way switch (neck, bridge, both series, both parallel, and bridge straight out)...
ahhhhhhhh......

Good thing I spent a bunch of time with my Avalon last night, or I might not be able to contain myself......

Here we go!!! For me it would have to be a Medley with a Rio Genuine Texas covered humbucker, and a koa top. Let's also add a machette headstock, and a clear gloss finish to complete the picture. ( I love medleys, I already have two.)

I would want a double neck 6/12 carve top Medley with a lightweight mahogany body and 3/8th inch thick quilted maple top and a deep blue stain.
A Maple fretboard Ranger style neck with 1.687" nut width and 6105 frets on the 6 string with Sperzel trim loc tuners. Ditto for the 12.
A Fishman powerbridge would be the bridge for the 6 string a powerchip preamp would be used for the piezo outputs. A 12 string version would be cool for the 12 string as well, but I don't think that one exists yet.
Finally the electronics would be from EMG, an 89R humbucker (bridge) and a 60 (neck) on the 6 and a Tele set on the 12 string.
The electronics would be a Volume, SPC midrange control and EXP expander on each set of pickups.
Ask me to dream and I dream big.

Machetes are really cool, but my Ranger (I'm not sure what year it is) comes really close...since I put a humbucker in it and an on/off switch in place of the original pickup selector...Also, I put some pinstripe hot-rod flames which I believe look pretty snazzy (in a rough draft way)http://robinlovers.com/discus/clipart/happy.gif played through any amp and my Danelectro Fab Tone, this guitar gives me a chubby!

My ultimate RObin is the one that I own
It is a savoy, with one piece quilted mahogany top. The guitar is beautiful and plays amazing. I think the best part about it is when I found out it is worth twice as much as I paid for it...Like most fine instruments, RObin guitars are a great investment

I know they don't make one, but I would love to hear a Savoy with a spruce top and some lower output pickups.

A chambered body Medley with Ebony fretboard. EMG (89/SA/85) pickups in H/S/H config. Piezo pickup wilkinson type trem bridge (fishman, etc) and Sperzel locking tuners. Dual outputs jacks, 1 for mag pickups, 1 for piezo. With a blend knob (mag/piezo) to boot.
I'm all about no compromise hard rocking versatility.

Okay....some more thought on a completely custom one-off dream guitar from Robin....
7-string Savoy type body - -
Swamp Ash
25 1/2" scale
Satin finished maple neck/rosewood board
Stainless steel frets
Skyway Tremolo
H/S/H pickup config w/splittable humbuckers
I think it would make for an interesting piece. 8^)
