What flavor? Did the Uncle set you up? Did you trade/sell any Hamers for it? Is Poe going to buy one? Can you play Freebird?

Uncle Greg set me up, as usual. The coversation went something like this:
ME: Dude, I want a Ranger.
BCR: Of course you do.
ME: No, I mean I want to order one.
BCR: Now?
ME: Now.
BCR: Ok. What flavor?
ME: Ranger Pro, Burnt Orange, chunky rosewood neck, tort guard.
BCR: Ok. I'll call Dave right now and get you a price.
My phone rang 5 minutes later, and the order form was on it's way. I signed it, faxed it, and now I just have to wait.
Badabing badabang Betty Boop!

Burnt orange sounds cool (I assume over swamp ash).
My order with the Uncle was a tad more persnickety. After some model jumping, I forced him to explain the virtues of split tonality and typical woodiness. The Uncle does know his feces (and a little about guitars too).
When is yours coming? Uncle Greg figured mine would take a month or so.

Thanks Ken!
I'm figuring you meant "quiet" and I think we both know that's going to change...

I LOVE this Ranger, and I don't like bolt necked-tele pickuped-25.5 scaled mapleboarded guitars.

Here's another HFC'er joining the brood (soon I hope)...Spoke with Uncle Greggy yesterday for about an hour or so and have determined that I must custom order a Ranger Pro...Still working out the details in my head and working on getting the cash in hand, but it will be mine, oh yes my good man, it will be mine!

So, I call BCR Greg this afternoon, as I often do, just to say "Hi," and it just so happens he's opening a guitar-sized box.
It seems something flew in for me from Texas.
Pictures will surely follow....

Very cool Ranger.
Is that a matte or glossy finish?
Kizanski

That's your basic Ranger Pro (satin finish). The only options being the tort guard and a push/pull pot for coil-cutting the neck pickup.
Greg says it weighs NOTHING.
