Robins in the UK

Does anyone out there know if Robin guitars were distributed in the UK during the 80s? Just want to know if I stand a chance of being able to find a used Ranger Custom over here!

Might be 2 years late but Sound Control in Scotland imported Robins in the early 90's. This is where I picked up my MS1.
