i want to thank allen for turning me on to this site , recently after a factory tour trying to sign up as a rio grande dealer i got an itch to check out robins online pure artistry guys im presently pursueing an artisan #4 of 100 in 1985
was this a japan made guitar??

Artisans were made in Japan by a company called Chushin. The serial number will be inside the control cavity.

#004 has a Kahler - it might have been added in Houston by Robin's staff (probably Neal Sargent). The guitar looks to be in fantastic condition. I like that color of red.
