My Tele has had Muy Grandes for a couple of years and I absolutely love them. I also have a Strat that had a noticeable lack of "balls" when I switched to it from the Tele so I put a set of Muy Grandes in it recently.
While the Strat sounds much better it still seems to my ears that the Tele is a little hotter than the Strat. Is there much of a difference between the Tele and Strat Muy Grande pups? Could it be a case of different pup heights? I'm tempted to raise the Strat pups a little bit when I get some time to mess around and do an actual A/B comparision between the two guitars.
