I got this two tone burst Ranger off ebay about 3 years ago. This has one of the best feeling necks I've ever played. Pickups are non-original... I have a Rio Tallboy tele pickup I'm going to put in bridge as soon as I have the time.

The two pickup (Tokai) Rangers are killer guitars. I have a couple of them.

It's actually kinda difficult to find one that hasn't been modified with a neck pickup. I'd say that half of the ones I've seen have had a third pickup added. The worst part about it is that the original pickguard ends up with a hole in it! If you want the guitar to look original you have to get a custom-made pickgurad.

I've taken the pickguard off - it's all original and clean under there - no additioanl routs. The bridge pickup is currently a strat single coil - a former owner drilled 2 holes in the pickup mounting plate to fit it. Luckily, no other mods were done.

Do you have the original case too?

Many of the import reverse headstock Robins I find do not have the OHSC.

Unfortunately it didn't come with the case. Heck, it didn't even come with a gig bag! I was thinking about selling it, but just started playing it again after a few months and just can't bear to part with it. I waited too long to get one.
