Hi.
I build my own guitars. I'm still in my 'amateur' stage, but I do see improvement from guitar to guitar. For the most part, I use Rio Grande pickups. You can see them in the attached photos. I hope you like them.
The copper-colored solid-body has a Dirty Harry in the bridge and a Dirty Harry Jr. in the middle (and a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat in the neck. Shhh...Don't tell anyone.)
The black, mini-Gretsch hollow-body has a Genuine Texas in the bridge (and a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck.).
The natural bubinga-topped semi-hollow has a BBQ in the bridge, and a Buffalo Bucker in the neck.
The pickup-less yellow-flamed body will soon house a Muy Grande in the bridge, a Halfbreed in the middle, and a Tallboy Twangbucker in the neck. It's my attempt at a Ranger Hollow/Texas Rawhide hybrid.
