Reunited at last

I wanted to share my little story with y'all! About 5 years ago I had to pawn my Medley, I moved out of town and was so stressed out about the move I forgot about my guitar and lost it.

I got the urge to buy another Medley the other night so I started shopping on-line...well I hit gbase and found a couple of Medleys at Rockin Robin a blue one and a green one, I got to looking at the green one closely and thought this guitar looks familiar! After searching my hard drive for pics of my old guitar I found them...it was the same guitar!!! So I spoke with Bart at Rockin Robin and sealed the deal today and I will have my guitar back after almost 5 years!!! I am thrilled to death!

A few years ago I bought a Ranger out of a pawn shop. I was telling Bart about the unusual custom features of the guitar. It turns out Bart knew whose guitar it was and told me it had been stolen from the guy's house. He gave me the owner's phone number and I was able to get the guitar back to the original owner.

That was very cool of you to get the guitar back to its owner! Bart seems to be a pretty cool cat, I am thinking about buying the blue one from him too.

The funny thing about this guitar is that I was moving out of Austin when I lost it, how it got to Houston I do not know?

I remember seeing that guitar a few years back at a pawn shop on S.Congress here in Austin. If it wasn't for the shaved off tip on the headstock, I would have bought it. I'm glad to see its back with its rightfull owner. Long live the Medley!!!

Thanks, you are right it was at Mustang Pawn on South Congress, I bought it at the Top Cash on Wm Cannon and S. 1st...man I miss Austin! How has the pawn shop seen in Austin been? I have not been back to hit the shops in sometime.

I haven't been pawn shopping in a couple of years, since I discovered Ebay. Four of my five Robins came from Ebay auctions.
