Hey Greg,

Lots of people are particular about the parts they use on their guitars, as I know you are. The difference with you is that your choices are generally correct! If you get time, you might throw out a list of some of your favorite specific components and suppliers... I was thinking about tone and volume pots and capacitors, tuning keys, pickup selector switches, hardware, etc.

Just a thought...

Before I do, tho, I want to make sure everyone knows that this is not a set up, I had no idea this post was going to be here when I logged on.

Nope. no set up. I was just reflecting on my last trip to local shop for pots. They had the Allparts pots, no mention on the packaging as to whether audio taper or linear, and I was greeted with shrugged shoulders when I asked the question... I know you're a tone junky and thought it'd be a worthwhile question....
