Gonna be near 75 tomorrow so I'm gonna dunk the boat and see if those bass are gonna be feisty in the afternoon....
BTW, discovered a good bass scale is great for weighing guitars. That TX Wrangler clocks in right at 7#. Just hang the top tuning peg on the hook.
(I know someone is cringing at the thought.)
Okay, I'll play some guitar too. I give in.

Actually, no...Opted for local water instead of an hour away, but had a nice run in the boat and enjoyed a sunny evening. Shirt sleeves at sunset, hard to beat for December... then came home and got out the faucet covers... down to 23 tonight. Go figure.

Try some plastic Zoom worms with a sinker up front. Fish 0-30 ft off bank. Closest thing to hunting in the water. Man, I miss that! ex-Louisiana now Colorado. Fly fishing sucks!

Yeah, lots of folks in East Texas have been fishing a Salty Flukes, sorta like a Bass Assassin with a forked tail. Fly fishing has its place, but when in your neck of the woods I always have an ultralight with me too.

Quick and effective, and we still have time to play guitar...
