I have a 1992 Raider, 2 hum, kahler/floyd trem, reverse blade headstock. Birdseye maple neck, rosewood fretboard. My old bandmate Greg Martin from deadhorse had ( stolen) a hum, sing, sing, tune-o-matic, stop tail piece, with a painted neck and headstock. He told me it was a prototype and originally had only the two singles when he visited the Robin factory. He got his for free, I paid for mine. Also, Adam Grossman of Skrew had one almost Identical to mine. How many of the Houston made Raiders were built? I never see them for sale, on e-bay etc. which leads me to belive there were very few made.
Thanks.

Scott:
Without digging in the archives I cant say exactly. But I think it should have been in the 100-200 range

in 96, i asked Greg about buying my 85 Raider-III, he said to "get it".. that they are great guitars.. we had a whole conversation about Robins.. he's the one who influenced me into getting my Raider.. i ended up trading a car (85 Escort) for my Raider-III..
i've seen a few USA Raiders.. a red Raider II was on eBay awhile ago.. it was in Dallas.. and there was a Yellow Raider-II w/a Kahler.. and a full black pickguard at Band Together in Humble.. i should have bought the yellow one, they wanted $350.00 for it..

if you ever see a 91 or newer Raider ( the ones made in Houston) let me know. BTW, Greg only plays mexican Strats and Teles now, except for one USA Tele that looks like Keith Richards.
